Taking into account the greatest prevalence of Chronic prostatitis among young men (75% -85%), and as a result, the development of infertility and impotence, an important medical and social task is to develop modern methods for diagnosing initial manifestations of the disease for early diagnosis and timely treatment of this pathology.
Considering that one of the important diagnostic signs of chronic inflammation in the prostate gland is to identify changes in its shape, structure and sizes, we have been carried out before and after the treatment of rectal and ultrasound examination of the prostate (trusses) in 60 patients with chronic prostatitis aged 23 Until 61, with a duration of the disease from the 1st year to 5 years, which were separated by the randomization method, depending on the treatment method used by 2, comparable in the main clinical and functional characteristics of the group.
Basic group - 30 patients who were treated using low-intensity laser radiation in the mode of constantly changing frequency rectally (ASOR-2K-02 apparatus, the duration of the procedure is 10 minutes, for the course 10 E / D percent) and control group - 30 patients who conducted symptomatic pharmacotherapy.
In the initial state of the overwhelming majority of patients (96%), the finger examination of the prostate gland was painful. Most often (in 82% of patients) a change in the size of the prostate was detected, and prevailed (in 75% of cases of them), a pronounced uniform increase of its increase, in rare cases (7%), a seal was observed and a moderate decrease in prostate sizes.
Along with this, more than half of the surveyed patients, the capsule seal was detected, regardless of the size of the gland. Changes in the structure of the prostate gland appeared to a greater extent as the presence of interdelic asymmetry (in 68% of patients). In addition, when studying the state of the prostate parenchyma in 34% of cases, the toughness was determined, a decrease in elasticity (48%), the inhomogeneity of the structure (37%) and the smoothness of the interdole groove (43%). It should be noted that the detected disorders in the structure of the prostate gland are the result of a chronic inflammatory process and are most pronounced in patients with a long and burdened anamnesis. 18% of patients with a finger survey of pathology have not been detected
Thus, the assessment of the state of the prostate gland to the methods of the finger examination and the coruions indicates the presence of a varying degree of severity of the violation of its shape, size and volume and structure, which is signs of chronic prostatitis and depends on the duration and frequency of exacerbation of the disease.
The results of a comparative analysis of the dynamics of the finger examination of the prostate in the observed patients showed that the overwhelming majority of patients of the main group (92%) after the treatment was carried out, the rectal finger study became painless and only 8% of patients were unpleasant sensations, while in The control group, they persist more than half of the patients (55%).
The results of the finger examination of the prostate gland was confirmed by the data of the pipes.
The most pronounced positive dynamics of the size and volume of prostate gland was observed in patients of the main group. The course use of low-intensity infrared laser radiation in the mode of constantly changing frequency led to a recovery to the norm of the front and rear and transverse dimensions of the prostate, as well as its volume, while in the control group the dynamics of the above indicators was insignificant.
Thus, the use of low-intensity infrared laser radiation in the mode of constantly changing frequency contributed to a more qualitative restoration of the structure and form of the prostate gland, which is important for the prevention of exacerbations and the development of complications in chronic prostatitis.
One of the important organs of the male sexual system is the prostate gland (prostate). Its main action can be called the development of the secret, which is part of the seed fluid. There is this organ under the bladder. Often there are pathological changes in it, the most common of which can be called seals in the prostate.
The reasons for which seals may occur in the prostate gland, there are several. But the most common diseases are the following:
In addition to these diagnoses, some factors cause hardening in the prostate. The provocative reasons are the following:
Regardless of the causes of prostate compaction, this symptom disrupts tissue restructuring, which negatively affects the health of a man. In order to prevent the development of complications if a pathology is suspected, you need to consult a doctor.
Prostatitis is an inflammatory disease of the prostate gland that occurs due to infectious agents. A lot of blood accumulates in the tissues, swelling and seals appear, which, with timely treatment, resolve. Also, a similar change in the prostate appears in the chronic course of prostatitis - calcification, characterized by the formation of salts from phosphates and calcium.
As a rule, it is very difficult to miss the development of the inflammatory process in the prostate, since a person feels very bad. Symptoms of prostatitis can be called the following phenomena:
If we talk about chronic prostatitis, then these signs appear during an exacerbation of the disease. This disease is diagnosed in 35% of patients and is the most common cause of seals in the prostate.
With prostatitis, a man has pain in the lower abdomen
Prostate adenoma is an age-related disease that can appear in older people. With a change in the hormonal background of a man, cells divide in the tissues, as a result of which seals are formed, gradually increasing in size. If you do not resort to treatment of benign Prostatic hyperplasia, then over time the size of the gland will become larger, and surgery will be required. It is worth noting that the compaction in the gland is the most harmless form of benign hyperplasia.
The main symptoms of prostate adenoma include the following:
In the initial stages of this disease, the symptoms of prostate seals may not appear. But if you do not resort to treatment, then over time, intoxication of the body occurs. Treatment of Prostate adenoma is more aimed at restoring the outflow of urine and preventing formation.
Cancer is the most dangerous cause of pathology. The most dangerous diagnosis in which a seal may appear is prostate cancer. Like adenoma, it develops in adult men, after 60-65 years. But do not exclude its development at an early age. The course of this disease is similar to benign hyperplasia. Symptoms of prostate cancer include:
If you ignore these symptoms, then the tumor can grow to other areas outside the gland, affecting the rectum, bladder and other internal organs.
Cancer can cause dizziness and nausea in men
Treatment directly depends on the causes that caused seals in the prostate. In order to overcome them, it is necessary to undergo a course of treatment with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory drugs. The most common medicines are those based on Diclofenac, Ibuprofen and Ketoprofen. Preparations of this group are necessary in order to have a positive effect on the immune system and destroy the infection that has "settled" in the gland.
To combat calcifications, surgery or laser crushing of stones is used. If there are several seals and they have reached a large size, then surgical intervention will be required.
Antibacterial therapy is the basis of conservative treatment. Recovery with such drugs is the most effective method - since antibiotics penetrate deep into the gland and affect it. Treatment should be carried out with drugs from a number of fluoroquinolones: Ofloxacin, Norfloxacin. The choice of effective medicines depends on the ability of the components of the drug to penetrate into the tissues of the prostate and the particular activity of a particular agent. In addition to such treatment, the doctor prescribes vitamin complexes for better absorption of antibiotics.
In order to prevent compaction in the prostate gland, medication treatment will not be enough. The doctor also prescribes complex procedures for his patient: massage, reflexology, physical exercises. But it is worth knowing that these techniques are used as additional methods of recovery. Finger massage is one of the effective methods of treatment, but it should be carried out by an experienced doctor in order to avoid complications.
It is worth knowing that prostate compaction is not an independent disease, but a consequence of one of the diagnoses that can be detected after a digital examination. It is difficult to independently determine the existing disease, so a doctor's consultation is required.
The prostate gland is one of the organs of the male reproductive system. It produces a secret that is part of the seminal fluid. The prostate is located under the bladder, and its lobes go around the upper urethra and the neck of the bladder.
Any diseases of the prostate gland affect not only the functioning of the organ, but also its structure. So, one of the signs of pathological processes in the prostate are seals. What diseases can cause changes in the density of prostate tissue? The most likely causes of the lump are inflammation of the prostate (prostatitis), benign prostatic hyperplasia (adenoma), or cancer.
It is possible to accurately determine the diagnosis only after a complete medical examination and examination. However, preliminary conclusions about the type of pathology can be drawn based on the clinical picture of the disease.
Prostatitis is an inflammatory process in the prostate gland. The cause of its development are infectious pathogens or prolonged congestion. The beginning of the pathology is the formation of a focus of inflammation: more blood enters the tissue, swelling occurs. With timely treatment, the seal resolves. Sometimes a cyst develops at the site of the inflammatory process - a capsule of connective tissue with liquid contents inside.
Another reason for the appearance of dense areas in the prostate gland is such a complication of chronic prostatitis as calcifications. Stones are formed from calcium salts, phosphates, exfoliated as a result of inflammation of the epithelium and necrotic masses. Timely treatment of prostatitis allows you to avoid the development of complications and eliminate all pathological changes in the structure of the prostate.
What changes in the body may indicate the development of an inflammatory process? In the acute course of the disease, the body temperature rises sharply, severe pulling pains appear in the lower abdomen, sometimes radiating to the sacrum and external genitalia. Due to swelling of the prostate gland, urination is difficult; while going to the toilet, a man may experience pain and pain in the prostate and urethra. Certain violations of sexual function are noted: erection and sexual desire decrease, during sexual contact, and especially at the time of ejaculation, pain in the groin is felt.
Chronic prostatitis has a less pronounced clinical picture. Symptoms appear only at the time of development of exacerbations. Antibacterial therapy, anti-inflammatory drugs are used to treat inflammatory processes.
Small cystic formations are removed using medical treatment or by puncturing and gluing the cyst walls. If there is an intensive growth of education, surgical treatment is recommended. To eliminate calcifications, laser crushing and surgical intervention are used.
Prostatic hyperplasia is considered an age-related disease. Since the organ is androgen-dependent, a change in the hormonal background and a decrease in the concentration of male sex hormones has a certain effect on its structure. In epithelial and stromal tissues, areas appear where intensive cell division occurs. As a result, at first a small seal (or several seals) appears, which grows over time and leads to a significant increase in the size of the prostate gland.
A disease such as prostate adenoma is manifested by urination disorders. At the initial stage, the disease may be asymptomatic, and even if denser formations are detected in the gland, a man may not experience any discomfort. In the later stages, difficulty urinating appears: the urine stream becomes sluggish and intermittent, additional efforts are required to completely empty the bladder, frequent urges appear.
The lack of treatment at the initial stage of the disease leads to a deterioration in the outflow of urine and disruption of the functioning of all organs of the urinary system. Constant stagnation of urine leads to intoxication of the body with nitrogen metabolism products and a general deterioration in the condition. Without the necessary medical care, a fatal outcome is possible.
Drug treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia is aimed at stopping the growth of the neoplasm and improving the outflow of urine. With large seals and the absence of the effect of conservative therapy, surgical treatment is used.
Like benign hyperplasia, cancerous growths develop mainly in adulthood. The risk group includes men older than 60-65 years. At the initial stage of the disease, the formation of a tumor occurs without visible signs. You can determine the seal during preventive examinations. With the further development of the neoplasm, symptoms appear that are somewhat similar to adenoma: the number of urges to urinate increases, the outflow of urine is difficult and occurs with less intensity.
Symptoms that indicate the possible development of prostate cancer also include:
With further growth, a cancerous tumor can spread beyond the gland, penetrating into the bladder, rectum. Signs of oncology are a deterioration in the general condition: nausea, dizziness, a feeling of weakness, shortness of breath. In the case of the development of a malignant formation, its detection in the early stages is very important. Successfully cured at the first stage, prostate cancer does not limit the life of the patient, while the detection of pathology at the second and subsequent stages leads to a significant reduction in life expectancy. Today, there are many methods of treatment: drug therapy, chemotherapy, surgery and others.
Identification of heterogeneities in the prostate occurs during a rectal digital examination or ultrasound of the prostate. The density, size, degree of echogenicity of the seals and general symptoms allow a preliminary diagnosis.
Additional studies may be needed to clarify the type of pathology:
To prevent the development of diseases that affect the structure and function of the prostate gland, it is necessary to undergo preventive examinations once a year. Men over 55-60 years old are advised to visit a specialist 2 times a year due to the increased likelihood of tumor formation.
