Research on average penis size includes a paper published in January 2014. More than 1,600 American men were examined using a unique technique. The scientists did not make physical measurements. Similar work was carried out in other countries. One of them, published in 2001, examined 3,300 young Italian men between the ages of 17 and 19.

In 2015, the result of a study of 778 men with a mean age of 43.7 years (range 20 to 82 years) who visited urologists in Saudi Arabia was published.
Patients were excluded from the study if they were under 18 years of age, if they had complaints of a small or short penis, Peyronie's disease, congenital curvature, clinical hypogonadism, previous surgery or trauma to the penis, as well as any combination of these factors.
After drug stimulation of erection, the researchers carried out measurements, as a result of which the average values were established:

The body mass index was also measured, which increases with the development of obesity. This study also showed a weak correlation between increased age and erection length.
However, the scientists noted that a slight decrease in size may occur for older men and found that "the difference in penis length between patients aged 70 and 20 was less than a centimeter".
What to do when you don't like the length?
A study from India concludes that determining normal penis size is of "considerable interest" as there has been a steady increase in the number of men complaining of a "short penis" and wanting to enlarge it.
