Potency tinctures
Properly prepared infusions with components of plant (roots, stems) and animal (badger stream, bear bile) origin have a noticeable positive effect on men with weakened immunity and sexual problems of psychogenic origin. Often, treatment with tinctures does not bring a pronounced stimulating result in the presence of severe organic lesions that may require surgical, psychotherapeutic or drug treatment.
In addition, men planning to undergo a course of treatment with tinctures should be aware of the existing functional disorders. Individual medicinal products cannot be used by patients with contraindications. Otherwise, the patient will suffer from decreased libido and deterioration of erectile ability.
What is tincture
By tincture, doctors mean an under-dosed liquid dosage form made on the basis of an alcohol solution. The active components of the tinctures in the form of parts of medicinal plants are placed in a solution without being heated or the extractant is removed. To obtain the most effective medicinal infusion, you must use 40-90% alcohol. The ingredients are crushed and placed in liquid for 10-20 days. Infusion takes place in a dark and warm place.
Peculiarities of collecting and preparing plants for tincture
Before preparing the tincture, it is important to establish the cause of the decrease in potency and a group of herbal remedies that can have a beneficial effect on the male sexual sphere. In addition, it is necessary to study the structure of the plant and identify the zones containing the maximum concentration of useful microelements. Usually, rhizomes and buds, inflorescences and fruits, bark and stems, leaves and branches are subject to collection. Before collecting raw materials, it is necessary to clarify the optimal time for harvesting a medicinal plant. If the grass is picked at the wrong time, then it may contain a small amount of beneficial ingredients in its chemical composition and bring a weak healing effect. It is believed that the collection of the main part of medicinal herbs should be done before flowering and before wilting. It is customary to collect the ground parts of plants in clear weather, when they are in a dry state. Rhizomes, tubers and bulbs are usually dug out before the plant begins to grow or bear fruit. The bark is harvested during the period of bud swelling. Leaves are to be harvested at the time of budding and flowering. Flowers and inflorescences are plucked at the very beginning of flowering. Fruits and seeds are harvested after final ripening.
Rules for drying healing ingredients
Before being placed in an alcohol solution, elements of medicinal herbs must be dried. Bulky roots and rhizomes are cut along or across. If the root has bark, then the top layer is gently peeled off. To preserve the maximum of useful ingredients, the roots are left in the open air for several hours, and then dried in the sun or in the oven. Before drying, tubers are placed in boiling water to eliminate the bitter taste. It is recommended to dry the kidneys in a cool place with a temperature of no higher than 2C.
How to store plant materials
It should be remembered that raw materials prepared for tinctures can be stored for a certain period, in particular:
- bark and rhizomes - up to 7 years
- buds - up to 2 years
- tubers - up to 6 years
- grass, leaves and inflorescences - up to 5 years old
Raw materials from medicinal herbs should not be kept in a damp, unventilated room for a long time. The best option for storing a large volume of dry grass is the placement of raw materials in coarse calico or matting bags. It is recommended to leave inflorescences in special boxes lined with parchment.
