Ultrasound diagnostics is a modern method of safe and informative examination of the human body, based on the use of ultrasonic waves. With its help, you can identify any abnormalities in the development and functioning of internal organs, establish an existing disease and evaluate its dynamics during therapy, as well as monitor the condition of the fetus during pregnancy.
Ultrasound diagnostics has important distinguishing characteristics compared to other numerous methods:
Ultrasound cannot assess the condition of bone tissues and cavities containing air. However, due to all of its listed properties, the ultrasound method has become a universal diagnosis of numerous diseases of organs, vessels and glands.
It is important to note that the quality of an ultrasound examination and its accuracy are largely determined by the class of ultrasound equipment used and the qualifications of a specialist who draws a conclusion based on the data obtained.
