Influence of Puerh on Potency
Peur is a post-fermented tea drink that has an intense healing effect. The bulk of tea raw materials is produced in the Chinese and Vietnamese provinces. A necessary stage in the preparation of a medicinal drink is the fermentation procedure, that is, accelerated aging of tea leaves.
Composition of Puerh Tea
Pu-erh tea is made from large-leaved tea tree varieties. For full readiness, raw materials go through a lengthy preparatory process. The chemical composition of a drink with pronounced beneficial properties includes the following ingredients:
- fruit acids, vitamins and amino acids
- tea polyphenols (anthocyanidins and phenolic acids, catechins and flavonoids)
Making raw materials for pu-erh
During preparation, processed raw materials go through the following preparation stages:
- withering for long-term preservation
- curling to extract tea juice
- fermenting, which speeds up the fermentation process
- drying at a high temperature< / li>
- pressing to reduce the volume of the tea leaf
Correct and consistent implementation of all stages of preparation makes the tea drink more astringent and aromatic. The total duration of preparation of raw materials for medicinal tea can be from 3 to 10 years. The most valuable and rare varieties of Pu-erh tea are aged for 20 years.
Making tea
Preparing to brew
Before brewing, the pressed form crumbles into small pieces. Large tea leaves can be broken into several pieces. To taste the tea infusion, you will need to brew 6 g of dry raw materials in 100 ml of water. Before brewing, tea leaves should be thoroughly rinsed under running water. This will help remove dust particles from the dried leaves. After cleaning, the raw materials are fried in a pan for several minutes. Heat treatment allows disinfection of leaves, in which harmful microorganisms could develop over long years of storage.
Brewing a drink
For brewing, the required amount of boiling water is poured into the kettle. The infusion time depends on taste and is about 5-10 minutes. One tea leaves can be infused on water no more than 2 times. Ready tea is drunk in small sips.
The medicinal effect of Chinese tea
Pu-erh has a calming effect on the nervous system, restores sleep and relieves men from excessive anxiety before intercourse. The drink helps to increase vascular tone and increase the strength of an erection. Taking the drug ensures the removal of cholesterol plaques and the expansion of the vessels of the small pelvis. Catechins give the drink a tart, spicy and slightly bitter taste. Thanks to these beneficial substances, tea has anti-tumor, antioxidant and antiparasitic effects. Taking pu-erh tea, saturated with gallic acid, reduces the likelihood of the growth of malignant neoplasms, getting rid of excess cholesterol. Healing trace elements provide a gradual decrease in the level of lipids in the body, normalization of body weight and an increase in the background mood. Taking a flavored drink helps to eliminate the signs of alcohol intoxication, improve fat and carbohydrate metabolism, and reduce the heart rate. Rinsing your mouth with bactericidal tea prevents tooth decay.
