Indications for the use of the drug

Thromboass is necessary for the provision of medical and preventive care in case of development:

• acute myocardial infarction, the likelihood of which significantly increases in the presence of diabetes mellitus and obesity, nicotine addiction and arterial hypertension, hyperlipidemia;
• pulmonary embolism, as well as deep vein thrombosis due to prolonged immobilization after surgical manipulations;
• attacks of unstable angina pectoris;
• ischemic stroke in the elderly and patients with transient cerebrovascular accidents;
• thromboembolism occurring in the postoperative period. Unsuccessful invasive interventions associated with endarterectomy and angioplasty of the carotid arteries, coronary artery bypass grafting and arteriovenous bypass grafting can cause vascular impairment.

Pharmacological action of the drug

The maximum concentration of active substances in the blood is reached 3 hours after the pill is absorbed. The medicinal effect after taking the drug lasts for 7 hours. Acetylsalicylic acid blocks the production of prostaglandins and prostacyclins. The drug reduces thrombus formation by slowing down the processes of thromboxane synthesis. In addition, acetylsalicylic acid has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects. Thromboass promotes an increase in the fibrinolytic activity of blood plasma.

Method of application

Salicylic acid ester tablets are intended for oral administration. It is necessary to take the drug before meals with plenty of water. Patients should not bite or chew pills while taking to avoid the loss of a large amount of active components before the moment of absorption. The daily dose of Thromboass is 50-100 mg. The medication can be used for a long period. The final decision on the dosage and the duration of treatment is made by the attending physician. The pills contain a fairly small concentration of active ingredients, so the likelihood of an overdose is minimal. In case of taking an excessive amount of the drug, the patient notes:

• confusion and dizziness
• nausea and vomiting
• tinnitus
• general malaise

To eliminate the described unwanted symptoms, it is recommended to take activated charcoal and laxatives.

Contraindications

Thromboass is not prescribed when diagnosing the following pathological conditions in a patient:

• hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the tablets
• acetylsalicylic acid intolerance
• gastrointestinal bleeding or erosive and ulcerative lesions of the stomach
• hemorrhagic diathesis
• bronchial asthma, reducing nasal polyposis

The drug is not prescribed to patients under 18 years of age and pregnant women. Special care when using the drug should be exercised in case of detection:
