Why does sperm flow out instead of shooting?

Why Does Sperm Flow Out Instead Of Shooting

If for representatives of the animal world ejaculation is a means of reproducing offspring, then for representatives of the most developed part of the biosphere - man - sex and its culmination is a means of communication between the sexes and obtaining physical pleasure. Its quality depends on many factors of physiological and psychological origin. Today's conversation will be devoted to the physiology of the process of ejaculation, what phenomena it is accompanied by, and what affects the strength of its manifestation.

Physiological features of the process

Ejaculation is a natural, natural process that occurs under the influence of external provocative moments. They can be any hints of the possibility of sexual relations. Tactile and visual provocations have the greatest effect for men:

  • the feeling of the presence of a desired woman nearby,
  • video sequence with attractive representatives of the beautiful part of humanity,
  • tactile contact, especially if it involves erogenous zones.

Auditory stimuli are considered less significant. The stimuli of the nerve receptors responsible for smell have the least exciting effect.

Such provocative factors trigger the work of the center located in the spinal cord, or rather its sacral section. Nerve impulses reach the smooth muscle receptors of the genital organs, provoking successive contractions of the muscle fibers of the penis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate, and urethra. Thus begins preparation for the final stage of sexual intimacy - orgasm.

Stages of ejaculation

The whole process of ejaculation consists of two main stages, each of which has its own laws and characteristics.

The emission phase is accompanied by an intense contraction of the muscular structures of the testicles, their appendages, namely the seminal duct, seminal vesicles and prostate. The consequence of this is that each structural element throws its secret into the lumen of the urethra, where all these substances are mixed, forming a ready-made ejaculate. In parallel, the urinary sphincter contracts, preventing seminal fluid from entering the bladder cavity. Thanks to this muscular “barrier”, urine at the time of erection and later does not penetrate into the urethra, protecting the seed from the harmful effects of urine. This "cordon" continues until the culmination of sexual intercourse.

The climax phase is characterized by the ejection of the finished seminal fluid from the penis. When the sex cells are mixed with a lubricating secret and a nourishing base, the man is ready to ejaculate. It occurs reflexively and is not amenable to conscious control. The main driving forces of the ejaculation process are the muscle fibers of the bulbous part of the urethra and the pelvic floor, they contribute to the ejection of sperm through the penis canal.

The degree of patency of the vas deferens and the tone of the muscle fibers determine the intensity of the release of the seed, allowing you to understand why the sperm does not shoot.

The average time interval from the moment of arousal to ejaculation, if it was not interrupted artificially, is three to seven minutes, ejaculation can last 4-50 seconds. The seed is erupted in several portions, with sufficient intensity, sometimes the amplitude of the ejection reaches thirty centimeters. The strength of the eruption of the jet is important for the fertility of a man, the more significant it is, the more likely it is to fertilize.

After reaching the climax in the genitals, the blood circulation weakens, the muscles relax, the erection disappears. The next ejaculation may come after a new arousal.

For your information: there is an opinion that the pressure of the seed at the moment of orgasm can enhance the sensations of a partner. All this is speculation, there is no connection between these phenomena.

What about animals?

Unlike animals, the moment of ejaculation in humans is accompanied by an orgasm and a feeling of euphoria. This allows us to consider intimacy as a social phenomenon. In the animal world, sex is a means of procreation, and the need for it arises reflexively, which explains the clear periodicity of this phenomenon. The mating period occurs in certain months, which is associated with an increase in hormone levels.

In the human community, sex is done for both reproduction and pleasure. But the strength and brightness of orgasm in each manifests itself with different strength. Moreover, the same man can experience orgasms of different strengths. Sometimes they are bright and long-lasting, but other times they are fast and smooth. In exceptional cases, the release of the seed may not be accompanied by a feeling of euphoria (anorgasmia), then this is regarded as a sign of pathology.

Signs of normal ejaculation

Many reasons influence the nature of ejaculation. If a man notices changes in the force of ejaculation and sensations at the same time, then diseases of the genital area may be the cause of this.

Key factors:

  • Number of ejaculations per day. The twenty-four-hour supply of seminal fluid varies between 3 and 7.5 milliliters. Accordingly, the optimal number of copulations with a full ejection of semen containing viable spermatozoa is 2-5 acts. A greater number of intense ejaculations over a specified period of time indicates polyspermy, which is a deviation.
  • Duration of sexual intercourse. It is believed that the longer a man does not experience an orgasm, the more experienced he is. Rapid ejaculation in everyday life is regarded as a sign of sexual weakness. Meanwhile, in physically strong men with a significant amount of ejaculate, orgasm comes faster. The optimal duration of sexual intercourse is two to three minutes from the moment of penetration, which corresponds to 20-270 frictions.
  • The force of ejaculate ejection. It is considered normal when the first ejaculation experienced during the day is most intense, and during subsequent orgasms, the force of ejaculation decreases. Regular sluggish ejaculation indicates insufficient muscle tone of the pelvic structures, which is not a serious violation and can be corrected. To increase the ejection force of the seed, you need to regularly perform special intimate gymnastics, the main purpose of which is to strengthen the smooth muscle fibers of the perineum. Most often, the cause of the sluggish flow of seminal fluid should be sought in inflammatory diseases and tumor pathologies of the prostate gland.

But, if the sperm stopped shooting, the following reasons can provoke such a change:
