Eight Months Of Erection

In the United States of America, a rather curious incident happened not so long ago: one of the courts received a lawsuit from a certain Daniel Metzgar, a forty-four-year-old driver who complained about his surgeon. The essence of the lawsuit was that a few months earlier the doctor had installed an implant in his penis, which led to the appearance of a prolonged erection.

It would seem that this side effect is not at all so terrible, but could even bring a certain benefit to the man, but the erection did not stop for a very long time, namely for eight whole months! According to Mr. Metzgar, all this time he was forced to experience constant discomfort and give up many familiar things.

An injured man was implanted with a device consisting of two cylinders, a pump located in the scrotum, and a reservoir of fluid under the abdominal wall. A similar surgical intervention is performed for patients after removal of the prostate gland or in connection with cancer, in case of impossibility of drug treatment.

The victim said that when the erection did not weaken a few hours after the operation, he suspected something was wrong. However, he did not expect it to take almost a year. Although the question remains open why the patient delayed the removal of the implant and complained about the incompetence of the doctor for so long.

Moreover, the surgeon himself claims that, upon learning of the problem, he offered the patient to remove the implant, and this was about four months after its installation. But then Mr. Metzgar refused, and decided to remove only when part of the implant pierced his scrotum.
