The Truth About Popular Stereotypes

Recently conducted opinion polls have helped to completely refute the most famous stereotypes about sex. It is generally accepted that sex is much more interesting for men, but the stronger sex does not care about closeness with a partner emotionally. In reality, both sexes may need both spiritual connection and casual sex.

According to the survey, it turned out that modern men in most cases take physical emotional intimacy much more seriously than their partners. For many of the stronger sex, it is much more important to get to know the girl, they make love to her after the first date.

Another common misconception, inspired by porn movies, concerns the duration of intercourse. On average, in erotic paintings it lasts from 20 minutes to a whole hour, while real average sex lasts no more than 8 minutes, and in case of problems with potency, this time is completely reduced to three minutes.

It is generally accepted that young people strive to make love many times a day, however, as sociologists have found out, about half of the couples surveyed, whose relationship lasts more than a year, make love no more than 2 times a month. Moreover, this regularity does not depend on age, and another 13% of couples, whose relationship lasts for several years, all of them have sex two or three times a year.

Regarding the quality of intimate life, only a quarter of the women surveyed confirmed that they are completely satisfied with the number and brightness of orgasms. Most of the participants in the study frankly admitted that they too rarely reach a climax, but the more important indicator in intimate life remains an emotional connection with a man, and sex itself is secondary.
