Natural Remedies for Prostate Treatment
The prostate is the prostate gland in men and is connected to the urinary system, which controls the production of semen during ejaculation. When the prostate hurts, a number of problems can arise, for which most men prefer to use home natural remedies rather than consulting a doctor.
Causes and symptoms
Many men ask themselves: why does the prostate hurt? One of the most common prostate problems is prostatitis, an inflammation of the prostate gland that affects men of all ages. How does prostatitis hurt? Typically, bacteria enter the prostate, causing inflammation and pain in the prostate, restricting the flow of urine.
Prostate problems include three different types of prostatitis as well as the following physical disorders:
- Acute bacterial prostatitis: This is a sudden bacterial infection that causes the following symptoms: fever, chills or pain in the lower back and between the legs, and sometimes even painful urination;
- Chronic bacterial prostatitis: This is an infection of usually untreated acute prostatitis and requires a long course of antibiotics to treat symptoms;
- Chronic nonbacterial prostatitis: also known as chronic pelvic pain syndrome, affects both young and middle-aged men, causing pain in the lower back, legs, or tip of the penis, frequent urination, and painful ejaculation;
- Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia: Also known as hypertrophy, i.e. enlargement of the prostate gland. Older men often experience symptoms such as painful urination and incontinence;
- Prostate adenoma pain: Although prostate cancer affects many men, few patients actually die from the disease. Pain in prostate adenoma occurs due to the consumption of fatty foods, low mobility and under the influence of genetic factors. Early diagnosis and effective treatment are critical; the likelihood of developing prostate cancer increases with age.
There are many causes and factors that contribute to a problem with the prostate gland, for example: sitting for a long period of time, excessive exposure to cold, infectious diseases, increased pressure on the pelvis (such as weight gain) and constipation. In men under 50, prostatitis is the most common prostate problem, while men over 50 usually deal with an enlarged prostate. If the bacterial infection weakens the function of the prostate, then there is severe fever, vomiting, chills, nausea and a general feeling of aching illness.
